I was born Ferdinand Frog in the rain forest region of South America. I roamed the Amazon Basin looking for adventure. I was hitching a ride on a howling monkey when the monkey and I were trapped by an illegal animal exporter and shipped to the United States, Los Angeles. I roamed the back streets of Los Angeles. Oh! the sights I saw in the City of Angels. Since I was fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese, I eked out an existence signing with a Mariachi Band on Oliveras Street. It was the best of times and it was the worst of times. Growing tired of the wild urban life I set off for the Last Frontier. I hitched a ride with some Blue Haired geezers riding in style in a Winnebago. They loved my singing. I sat on the dash and sang Eres Tu. When we arrived at the Great Land my blue haired friends and I bade a tearful good by and they dropped me at an Eatery run by a Giant Mouse and filled with screaming kids! Egad!

I was making my way to the stage to teach the band a thing or two about Soul and not being so mechanical when I was almost crushed by the giant mouse himself. A small hand saved me and I was slipped safely into a pocket and right away we left the mayhem. My rescuer was Brian Endsley, a wonderful albeit normal kid. His mom, Cynthia is a new-age wacko. Their dog, Gizmo doesn't speak as I can tell but he sings with Brian sometimes. My time with Brian, Cynthia Cynthia.JPG (45570 bytes) and Gizmo passed pleasantly but I become somewhat bored and longed for more adventure. When Cynthia heard that Letterbox Lizard was looking for a companion and roommate, she reluctantly gave me to Letterbox's friend and benefactor, James. Letterbox calls me Freddie.
